Pinocchio

The Kenwood School Play this year is Pinocchio. 4th & 5th grade Kenwood students are working hard to put on a terrific show. The performances are February 24 & 25th at 6:30 p.m. in the Kenwood Multi-purpose Room. The Kenwood plays are a very special part of the school. Thank you to music teacher Cindi Quehl and alumni parent director Kathleen Bloom for directing this production. We can't wait to see it. Click on SCHOOL PLAY on the blue bar on the left to get to the play website.

Kenwood School Auction

The Kenwood School Auction — our biggest fundraiser of the year will be happening Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church. This adult-only event is an evening not to miss! The theme this year is "Totally 80's". This event can't happen without the help of many parent volunteers. Information will be going home soon about how you can help. All the money raised from this event go to help support our great art residencies — like Taiko drumming, African Drumming, Roots Dance and more. Secure your babysitter now! Come and support your school and have a great time!

Volunteering At Kenwood is even easier than ever!

We are so lucky to be a part of a school community where over 350 parents volunteer every year — in a school of 461 students! Participating in school events such as Family Activity Night and the Kenwood Carnival has become much easier this year, thanks to the new on-line software program we are using called Jooners.com. When you receive an e-mail about a volunteer opportunity from volunteer4kenwood@gmail.com, you will be able to click on a link to a volunteer sign-up sheet via Jooners. There you can select a volunteer committment and receive a reminder e-mail two days before the event. If you haven't seen one of these e-mails yet, please contact Lori Smith at volunteer4kenwood@gmail.com to add your e-mail to our volunteer list. As, always, thank you for everything you do for our thriving Kenwood School community!
