Kenwood Curriculum Night will be Thursday, September 10th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Gather in the multi-purpose Room for a Principal's Update on the start of school and Kenwood's Title I Status. The Specialist Teachers (Art, Media, Music & Physical Education) will also give an overview of the year to come.
6:30 to 6:50 p.m. — Visit your child's classroom to hear about curriculum, homework policies and academic goals.
7:00 to 7:20 p.m. — Classroom presentations repeated for parents who have more than one Kenwood student.
Don't miss this informative evening. To allow sufficient space for parents in the classrooms, we DO NOT want children to attend the curriculum presentations. There is free childcare available for ages 3 & up in the Kenwood Rec Center. Reservations must be made in advance with Chris Madden, Family Liaison. Contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org or 612-668-2778.

On Wednesday, October 7th, 2015, Kenwood School will celebrate national Bike/Walk to School Day. Students are encouraged to wear a helmet and bring a lock for their bikes. Students can sign the mural by the flag pole on their way in and receive stickers that say"I walked" or "I biked". Bus riders can sign the mural too after participating in a quick activity on the playground when they get off the bus.
