Family Activity Night: All School Barn Dance - Thursday, November 15th

Family Activity Night is on Thursday, November 15th.

The Barn Dance is the culmination of our school wide residency with ROOTS, featuring the fifth grade sword dance. It’s a great time to kick up your heels and have your children teach you the dances. Kenwood kids love to see their parents dance, so please make a point to dance with your children!

We are also pleased to announce that you will be able to view the third annual student art exhibit “Native American Art: Teaching in Present Tense” that evening. Look for the art in the hallway of the lower level on your way down to dinner.

  • Scholastic Book Fair (4:45-6:00pm) in the media center
  • FREE dinner (4:45-6:15pm) in the multipurpose room
  • Kenwood Spiritwear sales (5:00-6:00pm)
  • The 3rd Annual Student Art Exhibit will be on display in the hallway by the art room
  • ALL SCHOOL Barn Dance (6:00-7:00pm) with live music in the gym

Please make sure you are supervising your children during Family Activity Night. Children should be participating in events, not unsupervised roaming the building or on the playground. For transportation requests, please contact Lori Smith at or 612-668-2760.

We need volunteers to help make the night run smoothly.  If you can help with a shift, please visit the sign up page and see where you can help out.
