The Woodchuck Walk is Back!

It's time to return to our weekly Woodchuck Walks!  Starting Wednesday, April 25th, we need 16 designated volunteers willing to walk or help patrol corners so that our students can enjoy some fresh air and exercise every Wednesday morning.  The goal of the walk is to increase student health, raise academic achievement, build community, and foster environmental awareness.  Buses will drop students off (or parents can bring their child) on the corner of Douglas and Morgan Avenues.  Parents and staff will accompany students on their way to school.  Please consider volunteering in order to keep this new tradition going.  Contact family liaison Lori Smith at lori.smith@mpls.k12.mn.us to volunteer for this invigorating walk!
