Meet Mrs. Williams

Welcome to room 234. We have fun learning everyday in our class. If you visit us you might find us working in small reading groups, or in pairs working on our latest lesson focus.

Mrs. Williams has been at Kenwood for many years. She has taught five grade levels from 6th down to 2nd.  She loves reading to her students and teaching them how to read.  Outside of school she likes to travel, enjoys many genres of music, and spending time with her family. This is her second year teaching the second grade and she is looking forward to working with her class.

Second Grade Schedule:

9:15-9:30 Arrival 

9:40-10:00 morning meeting (math or literacy in morning message)

10:00-11:40 literacy

11:50-1:00 recess/lunch

1:05-2:05 math   

2:05-3:00 specialist

3:10-3:50 social studies/science/2nd step (literacy integration)
