January-February Book Circle: me and white supremacy
Kenwood Families for Equity & Justice invite all Kenwood adults (parents/guardians/caregivers/educators) to join us for a 4-part book circle beginning January 11th, focused on Layla Saad’s book, me and white supremacy
WHO: Kenwood Community School adults who hold white privilege and want to begin the internal and external work of aligning their racial equity values with the actual practice of antiracist action.
WHAT: 4-part book circle focused on Layla Saad’s book, me and white supremacy
WHEN: Mondays, 8:00-9:30pm (January 11, January 25, February 8, February 22)
HOW: Via Zoom – large and small group breakout discussions. Facilitated by Kenwood parents, Meredith Fox (1st grade) & Ellen Guettler (2nd grade)

> Purchase the book
> Attend all 4 sessions
> Abide by the group norms we’ll create together (which will include no shaming and keeping conversations confidential)
> Read and complete the prework for each session
